Introduction

This website provides up to date information on the electronic Portal put in place to support the Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents. A full copy of the protocol can be found on the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) website.

The Portal provides swift, electronic exchange of all relevant claim information and related documentation - including medical records - between lawyers and insurers/compensators and enables key decisions to be communicated quickly, reducing duplication. This streamlined flow of information between parties on both liability and quantum helps to reduce operational costs and enables the insurer/compensator to agree settlement more promptly.
